This is the moment.
AUGUST 27, 2009.
the day when every effort was poured. the day that every hardships that was made was shown on that stage. THE DAY WHERE EVERYONE WAS NERVOUS ABOUT.
I woke up early in the morning, remembered that day was the birthday of my sister AND the BIG day. Tried to arrive as soon as possible and brought everything that was needed for all the contests. Guess Paperbag was with me with many things to handle. The school was so busy. It was like a swarm of bees trying to compete with one another for a sip of a nectar. Music was all over the school. You could hear the BANG! and the BOOM! of the drums. A teacher went near me and asked me to go up and tell to my classmates to prepare since the contest would start anytime soon. I went up and "artist" and "model" was there. Model's face was full of make up and she was dressed with the recycled dress that we (?) prepared. Model #2 arrived running and trying to catch up with her partner. I waited for my other classmates. Adobo arrived and she came with me to the restroom to change clothes. She was daring and sexy with her one sleeved purple dress. I wore a simple white shirt and pants. We went back and more people arrived. I announced to them to dressed and prepare themselves. We had trouble for the costume of "PRIEST" since the white thing that "MAMANG DRIVER" has doesnt fit. Sago went to our past classroom and tried to steal the white cloth we stored last year. It was really hard to plan what to do on that cloth while you know any minute the bell will ring. In short, we were CRAMMING. The bell rang then, I commanded them to line up and to proceed to the gym while we are still preparing for "Priest"'s costume. Adobo reminded me that we need to find a bench for the entrance act. WE ARE CRAMMING AGAIN. MAMANG DRIVER and DRUG ADDICT was helping adobo to find a bench while I, Apple and Pancit proceeded to the gym. It was HOT very HOT. the damn airconditioner wasn't open. So, it FRKN HOT. then eventually, the blinds were starting to close then KUYA EMCEE started announcing, " PINAPASALAMATAN PO NAMIN ANG FILIPINO DEPARTMENT SA PAG BUKAS NG AIRCON NG ATING GYM." At last, it was finally open. Every single person in the gym were starting to clap their hands. The show started, first we prayed then YADDA YADDA. fast forwaaaaard.
Fashion Show started. Model and Model #2 was there.:)) even my... SEATMATE LAST YEAR. :)) after that First year entered the stage. It was supposedly a PINOY MTV but suddenly it was shifted to Novelty Dance. Their song was sung by: LITO CAMO and it was named as "KUNG IKAW." the only lyrics that stuck on my mind was...
O bakit lagi kang ganyan
Naka simangot nanaman
Problema ay kalimutan
Kung....=))
It was sung 6 TIMES and it was tiring to hear those lyrics. WAAAAW. The first year contest ended and a batch of School Idol presented. They were good at singing. Then, It was our time to shine. Sophomores presenting on the stage. The SAR presented first then DDN, us, CV, SK and SC. After our class presented, I saw the straight face that he has. I was scared maybe our presentation wasnt good based on the expectations of them. After the second years presented, it was our LUNCH BREAK. I ate with, Ketchup, JACKIE LOVER and Varsity. We bought sushi and shared with one another. YIIEEE, sweet? :D that's what friends are for!.:)) then, C A and E ate with us under the trellis. Their love partners went to us and after that they were leaving us. "PEOPLE ALWAYS LEAVE." :))=))"
We went back to the gym. Seniors and Juniors were practicing for their event. Everybody entered the Gym then we continued the event. Their performances were breath taking. Their acts were like WOAAAH. BASTA, every year performance another batch of school Idol presented. So, the Seniors were done presenting their breath taking presentation.
The Awarding ceremony was... [speechless] yeah, so yeah.:))
we got 3rd place in Banderitas.
